Question Custom Proposal - Page Wise.

In SI4 I would always export my proposals to word so that I could touch them up a little. With the new report designer, this is no longer neccessary except for one thing...I don't like my line items, or locations to be cut off in the middle. For instance, sometimes a proposal will run with the location at the bottom of one page and then the description and total on the next page, or the location and description on one page and the total on the next page. I would like to keep my locations together on the same page without having to put in a page break...that would simply create too many pages. Is there any way to accomplish this?

I have attached an example of a proposal as printed currently. I would like to keep the highlighted sections together.

Thank you in advance for your help!

The dev team has put a lot of effort into solving the “Orphaned Header” problem, but the best we can tell there seems to be a bug in the Active Reports engine. We will post to the forum once a solution is found.

See Page 516 of the most current User Guide for help with Conversion to Word. 1) Export to RTF without headers or footers 2) Open in Word using the custom template provided on the CD …\SampleFiles\Reports\Word Templates 3) Then manage the page breaks.

You can also access this information by going to:

Help > Contents > Reporting Center > Primary Interface > Projects and Reports Area > Importing a Report into MS Word

I have attached screenshots of the two help pages related to this.
