Default Customizing Service Orders

I want to modify service orders. Can this be made possible? If it is already where can I? If it isn't, need it to be.

Tools - Report Designer - Order & Scheduling reports. In report designer, choose New. This will start a wizard that prompts you if you want to make a new report based on existing. Choose that one and select the report from the list that best fits your purpose.

Default Orders and Scheduling Report Designer

Hey there Gurkha,

It is possible through a new version of the report designer in Si 5.5. If you go to the tools menu and see the Report Designer sub menu there are 2 options that stem from it:
1. Standard Reports
2. Orders & Scheduling reports

The Orders and Scheduling designer is a bit different than the standard designer, but if you have any experience with the regular designer it should not present an issue for you. I think it's actually a bit simpler, just different.

Couple of Pointers:
Orders and scheduling reports are imported/exported in the orders and scheduling designer. They are actually published to the server for all given permission to access so exporting/ importing would only be for collaboration with someone outside of your D-Tools environment.

You must be logged in to the server to open the orders and scheduling report designer.

From this designer you also provide/ deny access to specific reports at the user group level. You'll be promoted when going through the report design wizard, but you can change these settings from the file menu.

Also - make sure you have the permission in Server Administration for 'Create Custom Reports'

Hope that helps!
