Default Visio on VIrtual PC

I am installing d-Tools on a Virtual PC due my main OS being 64 bit.
However, Visio Pro is installed on the host PC.
When I go to install d-tools on the Virtual PC, it asks me to make sure I have Visio installed first.
Do I need to do that or is it OK to have Visio on a separate OS?

Thanks a lot
