Greetings!

We have this problem on 1 machine in our office.

D-Tools looks for a sync with internet time to validate your license.

We have 1 machine that has a W32 time error and we do not know where it is coming from and this keeps the license from registering!

Support says there are a few instances of this out there, but there is no kn own fix.

I have heard everything from 'it's my NIC' to 'its you domain server'

Still waiting on a fix.

Some would probably agree with you.

We are here to help the users, how are we doing?

Seems we are the only Certified Partner that participates on the forum on a daily basis to help the user community.

So with the good comes the bad you see.

No one is paying us to help here, so we can be real whenever we experience the same shortcomings that our peers experience, perhaps that's what you are reading within some of our posts.

I do feel that your statement "you talk a lot of *hit" overstates things to a very high degree.

If we were not honest, our integrity in the user community would suffer and surely someone out there would acuse me of holding back because I am a Certified Partner.

The users are who matter most to me.

Well said Kevin – I think your creditability would be at stake if you made it appear that all you did is preach the “D-Tools way”. I think that your honesty with the program and expressing frustration with it at times is only human and is your right to do. Your occasional criticism is nothing compared to what we read here by others anyway. If anything yours is constructive criticism that D-Tools should value as should my fellow end users. My thoughts are they’ll listen to you more than the average user since you are a Certified Partner and we’re just common folk.

i have the same problem as well. full install with liscense, whenever i click open reporting center it says "Your dtools lisc has expired please contact dtools." And btw, if hes a partner and hes asking for things to be fixed you know he means it. It shouldnt have problems like that period.

This is something that we are addressing in 5.5, however, it can be caused by something other than D-Tools.

For one, the client PC does not have direct access to our registration server. Being behind a proxy would be a perfect example. Because proxy's hide your true identity, or try to hide it, our ping back to your lic file is blocked or lost somewhere along the line in the proxy causing the license to not auto advance or renew.

This can also be caused by software firewall/anti-virus programs as well. There are several reasons as to what can cause this, and it isn't just a "bug" or problem with D-Tools.

In 5.5 this will be different so these messages should not appear anymore. Steve, I've reset your account and you should not receive that message anymore. If you are still having problems, please call support so that we can remote into your machine and fix the problem. Thanks.

EDIT: Steve can you PM your company info, I'm finding multiple ones.
