Go through the list and check off items as you review/update.
This is basically what i've done to this point. I've set up an Access Database project (clunky, but functional) with a series of queries that look at my local MasterDataTable for "defects" or updates. So i sync, run the queries, fix the problems (or try to keep up with the problems), and re-sync. Not the most elegant solution, but it works for now.

Thank you, Fryeguy and Grichards. I am not 100% sure about how to run a query as you suggested... Hate to sound like an ignoramus, but it just shouldn't have to be so hard!!

If I understand what you’re looking for, you could try one of these.
1. Set up a custom properties field (we call ours “Approved”) and, in the MMPD, insert a character(s) marking the product as approved. When someone adds a new product to the database, the custom field will be blank, and you will be able to sort these out in the MMPD.
2. In the MMPD set all your products, in the “Status” column, to “Unapproved”. When someone adds a new product it will be, by default, set to “Approved” and in the MMPD you can select “Show only approved products”, make your corrections and then change the status to “Unapproved”. When folks are adding products, they will have to select either “Show all products” or “Show only unapproved products” in the status window. I know this sounds backwards, but you don’t have a choice on the default setting.
