I just downloaded all of the AMX data from the D-Tools database. I then ran EasyMatch from the pricing documents provided by AMX (csv).

There were:
483 Matches
745 Unmatched Products
2 Close

Just curious, is this normal?

As always, we try to get the latest data from our manufacturer partners, but many are busy or do not have dedicated resources for it so it can be a challenge. In the case of AMX, they are actually working on a HUGE update where they will be adding thousands of new products to our database soon. All of their switchers and everything will be completely filled in with IOs and the like and will be an awesome addition for those who are AMX dealers. I am not sure exactly sure when this will take place, but I know it is in the works over there.

But with the 2000 Item limit, I will not be able to match ANY of the products to my existing database. I cannot just match MVP data to the Items I have in my database. Even in some "Categories" the count exceeds 2000. This limit needs to be lifted to make this data useful for matching.

I don't want ALL the data. But I do need to download all the items so that EZ Match can do its job.

Also they use Part# as their Unique identifier. How will that be handled?

In Step 2 of the EZMatch Wizard you can match a column say "Part #" in your CSV file to Model in the D-Tools database. See screen shot below: -
