Default EZ Match Ignores "Price Settings"

In MMPD the "Price Setting" control panel drives the pricing calculation logic. If our case we want Margin to remain constant. So a change in UnitCost would generate a change in UnitPrice.

However EZ Match keeps Unit Price constant and modifies Margin. I can't imagine that most dealers would prefer this method.

EZ Match should use the setting defined by "Price Setting".

This is a big deal if you do not have the same Margin for all products sold by a Manufacturer. When you get a price update sheet from the Manufacturer, one is required to review by hand and add Margin % for each item. This substantially reduces the value of this great tool for a lot of dealers.

I missed something... You also cannot set the Margin via EZ Match. So UnitPrice must be calculated in the csv file for each item before import. So if I receive a price update I must go thought and first match all items by hand to the desired Margin and then add the calculation to compute the UnitPrice prior to the import.

If you used the "Price Settings" none of this would be required. I change my Cost and the Selling price automatically changes.

EZ Match is so close to being a huge time saver. Some Vendors update prices monthly. Most dealers cannot keep up with the changes without a tool like this.
