What exactly is occurring when the database is “synching”? Is data only being synched down from the server? If this is the case which permission is necessary for the “Copy up to Server” I have set both LANSync Data Sync and LANSync Administrator permissions however I do not have the option to copy up to server.

If you log in to the LANSync Admin Console, and click on Groups, select the Administrative Group from the drop down, and edit permissions.

Make sure that none of the choices that start with RESTRICT are under the permissions column for that group. If they are move over.

I'm pretty sure you have one of the restrictions in there and that is why you don't see the COPY UP TO SERVER option.
