Default Syncing only occurs when MMPD is opened

The data syncing of the Master Table between the Server and Local database only occurs when the MMPD is opened and closed.

It really needs to sync when you log into SI5 because our sales people do not go into MMPD. So when they try to add a new product it will not be there.

Agreed. This was the behavior in 4.6 and I can think of no reason why this would change.

Anyone from DT?

This needs to be restored to the way it was.
Please.

Has this been changed in 5.2? I have not updated yet but I too agree that there should atleast be the option to make users sync when they first log in and out.

I'll echo this request as well... I can't tell you how many times I've opened a project up on another workstation and not realized that it didn't have all the same parts in it to pull from etc... a few times I thought I was going crazy until I realized the database wasn't up to date with what was sitting on the server.

D-tools?

This is needed. It's impacted me quite a bit even just between my own desktop and laptop.

At the very least we need a button on the Navigator to initiate a sync, w/o having to go and open MMPD. It's tedious and unnecessary.

I completely agree on this topic. It was so much easier every time you logged in on version 4.6. At least add a sync button somewhere
