Unhappy Connecting to QB via QuickLinks in Multi-User Mode

According to the SI4 QL documentation

"Note: You must log on with the Admin Username and Password in QuickBooks.
You must also be in Single-User mode in QuickBooks. These requirements are only necessary for the initial Configuration."

Problem 1)i am unable to connect via QL if any other user is connected to quickbooks

Problem 2) when i kick everybody out of QB i am able to connect, however a number of line item have "Item" blank.. how do i do a BATCH sync of QB Item with Dtools Product database??

Problem 3)prior to running QL i opened QB for faster connection / access / transactions without signing in, QL crashed on "Invoice Save" and left QB open with Admin logged in - Not appropriate or expected or even slightly amusing...
is going on? anyone have any ideas?

getting a little frustrated with this less than seamless and painless "upgrade"
getting ready to revert back to http://www.napkincad.com/

I have found many problems with using QuickLinks every way except by having everyone out of QB, (Inconvienent) and allowing DT's & QL to automatically access and open QB, which will log on via admin information set during the set up of the programs. If I do this, it seemmingly works great with very few flaws.

Jordan,

I logged in as the admin in single user mode, but when I try to create the estimate I get the following error:

Error in Object: ConnecttoQB
Error Description: Automation Error
The specified module could not be found.
Error Number: -2147024770

Any thoughts?

Looks to me like you don't have the Inuit SDK installed on your machine. You should call support and they should be able to get you the right install to get it fixed.
