Change orders
I understand how the change order process within DT's and QL's to QB. But, my question is, when small changes are made, such as a LCD mount change, is that suppose to be processed as a change order in QL's to update the QB project for ordering and receiving? I would find that there will be a massive amount of "estimates" sent to QB to do this and not to mention the time it would take. I have come up with a strategy to only process the change order estimates when the amount reaches a pivotal amount, or after a certain amount of time from when the initial changes have been made. I am seeing that this would create a hold up for the project in a case that the part is required immediately. Can I order and receive a part against a project in QB without creating the estimate immidiately and having it done at a later time when I could send it with say 3 weeks amount of changes at once? I hope this is making sense, it's hard to explain. . . thanks.
