Default Quicklinks and Labor

When I build projects I often add extra labor line items for system debugging or travel, etc. I have noticed that when exporting, those items are in the product window in Quicklinks rather than the labor window. Often as a result the Grand total that is on the bottom does not match the project. Am I doing something wrong? My items are listed as labor in the D-Tools database.

No you aren't doing anything wrong. That is confusing though. I've found that only the D-Tools created labor items as well as Misc Parts (if using the single entry for misc parts in QL) show up in the bottom portion of the screen.

User created database items for labor are always showing up in the top of the screen, however when brought over to QB they are categorized as labor type items (as long as the QB items they correspond to are 'Service' items in QB)

Short answer: you aren't doing anything wrong and as long as your labor items are linked to service items in QB you shoudl be just fine when the data transmits to QB.

Anyone else find anything different than this?
