A little side note to this discussion is that I get the same issue inside of D-Tools when breaking projects apart for multiple contracts especially when issuing change orders that are split by phase. Often times we are in contract for rough-in and trim with the general contractor and finish is with the home owner.
Does D-Tools utilize accepted accounting practices for calculating sales tax? (Not that I know what this would be...)
