Default Color Lines in Line Diagrams

I just started using D-Tools with AutoCAD, I normally use it with Visio. I had Visio customized so that it would color specific cable types with colors I had set. Now with AutoCAD it colors everything white because it defaults it into the WIRE + CABLE layer (whose line color is set to white). I need it to be able to color different cable types with different colors. How can I do this in AutoCAD?

I am interested in this as well Vic. See my post about layer management. I think a workaround is fine for now but a plan for how it should work is also important.

In SI5.5 now you can change the color of the wires, please take a look at the blog post.

Vic

I am having trouble getting the change color function to work on the schematic page. Any ideas, is this supported on schematic pages?

Newman,
The custom command (change Layer/color) works only with Dynamic Blocks, regular blocks, linked or not linked to D-tools on any drawing page. But the custom command (change layer/color) does not work with Schematic blocks, because they are coded blocks.
