I just read this thread because I am having the exact same problem. I didn't see an answer, so thought I'd continue the conversation.

This is only happening to one of my files. I've looked everywhere to solve it, but cannot see where it is checked out in LanSync. But none the less... it will not let me check it out, even though it shows as not being checked out. It keeps saying it's checked out in LanSync... the exact message as the post listed above.

I too am having the same issue. I have a total of 21 projects that this happened on. We have updated our computers and servers and this still occurs. It happens on the other desktop as well. The only thing that tech support was able to tell me a few days ago was that we needed to re import the file. I tested it on one of my projects and it worked, but there as to be an easier fix than doing this to every single of my projects. My question was why was is fine one day and they next day my projects were all screwed up?

I have the same issue. I only have one machine wityh D-Tools server and client on. I cannot open the project as it is checked out. How can this be, when this is the only machine D-Tools uses?

I guess its another email to support. A regular event with D-Tools!
