Default SI5 and SI5.5 re-install

I had to blow up Windows XP and start fresh so I am trying to re-install SI5.5 now. The CD I have is for our original version of SI5 and NOT SI5.5. I thought I should try to install from the CD and then run the product update BUT since we've already updated our server, my SI5 disc can't find the LanSync server to perform the install. How should I proceed?

Support sent me the trial version of 5.5 and it is now installed. I assume the licensing will be handled by the mothership as I was not asked for a key during installation.

That's the sweet thing about pooled licensing. You can have the SI5.5 installed on 30 PCs, but the number of simultaneous users are limited by the total number of licenses in the license pool. This is handled by the server.
