Thanks Dave for the quick response. I tried it about 4 times then finally just said the heck with it and tried it in XP mode and voila. It worked. Now to get back all the information that was in my previous version which I assume I can recover with the Win7 transerfer cable or a good ole 4 gig thumb drive.

Figured it was a shot in the dark, but figured it might be worth a try. I would submit a support ticket online and they should be able to get you back up and running.

Hi Pat,

It is best to contact Tech Support for help on this if you still have issues after trying the ideas below.

If your install is a old install (not 5.5 SP2 - 5.5.597.0) then make sure to you install SP2. Check this - Manual Update to SP2 - D-Tools Documentation Wiki

The SP2 Server install will install a SQL Instance which is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit OS. Before running this install make sure to uninstall any SQL instances you do not need and also the uninstall the D-Tools server and client.

Naresh just wanted to say thankyou for the links. Didn't get around to doing anything till this past Thursday night and the link you posted worked. Was able to finally get my system back up and running .
