Default Error Connecting to LANSync Server

Hello,

We’ve just now gotten around to installing SI5 Client (SI Text, SI ProBase) on our 2nd office PC (XP SP2).
Install performs as expected until SI 5 launches.
At this point we receive the error, “Unable to Locate LANSync Server”; SI5 launch aborts at this point.

The error details I’ve captured are as follows:
“Description: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Web.Services3, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

FusionLog=WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

I have submitted this issue to tech support, but...I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Regards,

Default

Tech support advised me that the solution was to re-install WSE 3.0 from my SI5 distribution CD. Voila!

Thanks!
