LanSync on 2 computers - D-Tools Forum

In addition to having SI5 configured in a normal server environment with client desktops, I'd like to have LanSync on a Laptop for training purposes so there are no worries about messing up the Database. Is there a way to do this without buying a 2nd LanSync license? Afterall, we can install the desktop application on more than one machine, but only one can be logged in at one time. It would be nice for LanSync to do the same thing to avoid buying a 2nd license. If it's not possible, well...no training machine.

I'm sure your account manager would be more than happy to work something out for you. Give him a call and see what your options are. Let him know that this is for training purposes only.

If I read this right...I can run my 1 only license of d-tools SI5 (Desk top) on my computer and also on my laptop? I have lansync and the works on my desktop at the office but would sure like the option of taking work home on the laptop.

....I just tried loading the desktop onto my laptop but it kept refusing the CD key.

Any suugestions before I phone support?
