Default Does D-Tools work with XP 64 bit?

I have been promised a new computer and I need to confirm that it will work properly with d-tools.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Procesor 6000+ AM2
8Gb DDR2 800MHz PC-6400 (4 x 2Gb) memory
2 WEstern Digital WD1600JS 160 Gb Sata2 7200rpm 8Mb Hard drives, Raid Zero configuration
2 NVidia 8500GT 512Mb in SLI mode video boards
Microsoft XP Professional 64 Bit

! Important ! does D-Tools work with 64 bit???

Default

SI 5 does not run natively on a 64-bit OS.

The way to go about this is to install Virtual PC on your 64-bit machine, then install the 32-bit OS and System Integrator on that virtual. We have been using this configuration in our test environment and it works very well.

Virtual PC is free and can be downloaded here:

My new PC came pre-loaded with 64-bit OS. Can I reinstall a 32-bit OS over top of the current? Would this likely cause hardware problems?
