Default Company and Project Defaults

Is there a way to get our project defaults (zone names, formatting settings etc.) on to our other machines using lansync? If not with lansync, is there a simple procedure to do this?

Yes, if I understand the question. See page ~493 of the User Guide. MMPD -> Admin -> LANSync.

Reed - PLEASE - just post the answer and reference the page # for more info - it's much more helpful than just listing a page number.

James - yes - go into MMPD --> ADMIN TAB --> LANSYNC TAB --> COPY PROJECT DEFAULTS. This will copy UP the data from an already configured workstation... then the other workstations will synch with it on their next connections and pull it down.

Thanks Reed! I know when I'm searching the forums (which we wished more people would do before posting first... hehehehe) - I hate finding posts that reference a manual (that I may or may not have)... sometimes I'm even off site (from where I may have the manual) and am looking for an answer. Thanks a million for understanding (and not thinking I was trying to flame you!). You're a super help to these forums for sure!!!

I understand... BTW all the manuals are in PDFs here on the forum.
SI 5 Documentation

I keep them all handy on my computer for the reasons you state.
