Default I/O Order

The first thing I always do when I drop a schematic shape on a page is right click and select "show terminals top to bottom". Surely this is the default preference of 90% of D-Tools users? After all, we all read left to right, top to bottom. Is there no way to make this the default? This is a constant waste of time. I recall that in the past it could be done on a product by product basis but that appears to be gone now (which is fine, if I could just choose a program default).

Thanks

You can show IO Ports top to bottom as default on a schematic view in Visio. On a schematic page right click a shape and click D-Tools | Terminal Options.

In the Terminal Options dialog check "Show I/O Terminals from top to bottom". This will set all schematic shapes on the current page to show top to bottom and any new ones you drop will also show top to bottom.
