It is great, It makes adding new product to the database actually fun instead of tedious.
Great Job on I/O Studio

Jesthed,
There were several of us that had this problem. Head on over to the General forum heading and read the thread there.
Most likely culprit is that you have an entry in your I/O list that has a space before any characters. Delete the space or spaces before the entry and you should be golden.

I am definitely a fan of I/O Studio. I am wondering if something similar could be introduced for adding accessories to products, say an Accessory Studio?

Hi Jeff,
Initial impression is very positive. I am looking at saved configurations. Is there a way to save multiple saved configurations, one for receivers, one for an RGB matrix switch etc.?

Respone to David
Hi David,
Are you thinking about a sample product with IO's that you can reuse as a basis for new product entry? If so, the best way to do this (currently) is to create a product in your db, something like Receiver IO sample, put the IO's you want in it and then simply copy and paste into other products or use it as a template for new products.
Let me know if that helps....

Hi Jeff,
I should have communicated better. Right now a "saved configuration" is a list that is as long as you want to make it of the many different terminal/signal/labels that you might use. What I was thinking is that it would be nice if right in the I/O studio there were "saved templates" that I could click on that would populate a component. No different than duplicating a product, or copying and pasting as you mentioned, but I just thought it would be a nice to be able to build I/O templates right into I/O studio.
I think it would be really neat to be able to create a bunch of I/O templates, off the top of my head:
"DVD Player"
"Display"
"Receiver"
"16 zone RGB Switcher"
"16 zone audio switcher"
The idea would be that those templates would get you close to where you needed to be, and you could go from there. This would just be another way to do it all in I/O studio, so that users don't have to remember to start by copying a similar SKU, nor move between skus to copy and paste.
