Question Company Logo help needed

Does anyone have any tips for formating our logo for use in d-tools? I have read the manual and looked aroundon the forums and can't seem to find anything that works well. According to the user guide the logo is limited in both dimensions and file size. I saved our logo as a jpg and it was roughly 3030x1200. I then used both paint and Photoshop CS2 to resize the image to the limits recommended by the d-tools manual. No matter what I try it looks like garbage. The same jpg file used in Visio on our new 'templates' looks great. I'm not a wiz at paint or photoshop but I seem to be stumped on this one. Does the problem have to do with the width to height ratio? Do I need to put my image on a 'canvas' the size of the d-tools recommended size? Thanks for any help you can offer!!

I know this can be frustrating. Why don't you send me the best logo you have. Preferably something that is pretty large to start with and I will fix it up and send it back to you. Send it to bobp@d-tools.com and I will take care of it.

Default Thanks for the help with our Logo

The company logo looks great. I'm just wondering if you could give a quick description of what you had to do to format it for d-tools. Thanks again for your extremely speedy help with this!!!

I've always been a bit dissatisfied with how our logo printed in reports, but I just followed the steps and it looks great now, thanks.

I'd be glad to take a look at it. Send it to bobp@d-tools.com and explain what it has looked like or even send me a PDF report for me to see what it is not doing correctly and I will see if I can fix it. Again, please send me the best logo you have for me to work with.
