Default Remove items from Master Table

I have added about 880 items to our D-tools master table this year which are on our annual blanket purchase agreement with local vendors. How do I remove them and add new items to our master table?

I would really like to remove the whole 880 items due to catalog number changes, vendor changes, etc. then simply import the new items.

You can open the DB in Access or delete the manufacturers from the DT DB and import a CSV for what you want.

With V5 this will be much easier so you might just want to hang on until the V5 release.
Or, email me and i can send you what you need to get into the Access tables.

We are looking forward to getting V5. In the mean time I need to build packages with our new items. Additionally, we only have Access 97.
Is there a way to do what I want in via csv? Access 97?

Sincerely,
Kim

Access 97, dude that's steam driven software. But, that should not matter since we are providing the Access tables in D-Tools.
Send an email to http://www.d-tools.com/support/submit-an-issue.html and requests and NDA. Once you sign the NDA they will give you the password to get into the D-Tools Access tables.
The other option would be to add the new items and marl the old items as discontinued.
You could first copy the old packages and then replace the old items with the new items.
In V5 you will be able to import from any CSV file and map the fields.
