Mass Inport of Rooms to Location List - D-Tools Forum

I am working on a large installation with 45 rooms (25 on 1st floor, 20 on the 2nd). I would like to find a way to import my rooms into my location list from a spreadsheet. If anyone has any suggestions, please post.

Well, if you have the db Password, and you know Access and you are very brave... there is this Room table that can be updated from Excel. I think D-Tools should have the ability to load any of the tables (signal, rooms, labels, etc) from a csv file. Sounds like someone needs to summit a new feature request....

The only sugestiion I can offer is to use a simuilar project and do an insert system bringing in only room and zone info from the other project.

There is no way i know of to import a list of rooms.
