Default Displaying Zone Descriptions on cover page

I'm trying to think of a way to achieve a cover page that displays the individual zones and zone descriptions on the cover page of each of my proposals.

I added the "dtpZones/dtpZone/dtpName" and "dtpZones/dtpZone/dtpDescription" fields in the detail section of the report, but it only show the first zone in the project. No other zones appear.

I'd love to have a list of zones being used with brief descriptions of what is each proposal appear on each cover page.

If a project had data cabling then the zone description for data cabling would be listed along with other zones used like: security and digital signage on the cover page.

Any zones not used within each project would not be listed on the cover page.

I have a scope of works page of course with much greater detail about individual requirements for the project. I'd just like to display on the coverpage a list of zones in each project.

This would be a useful feature. I'd like to achieve the same.
In my 'old-type' proposals I would have a few pages dedicated to the generic description of all the systems being quoted.
However, I have been unable to get this done in D-Tools.
Obviously, one could create variations of reports or simply attach another file with just this description. But it is not as convenient as having this generated automatically.
Anyone out there knows how to achieve what 'gvoyzey' asked for?

BTW.
gvoyzey, how do you add 'Scope of works' to reports?

Default Cover Page with Zones

Happy New Year guys - I've just created this cover page as a stand alone report. You can use it as a subreport to your proposal or just print it by itself.

A pdf sample is attached here so you can check it out. Shoot me an email ryanbrown@medesign.tv and I will send you the report's zip file so you can import to your D-Tools.

I currently add my scope of works in the project information section, although I'd quite like to have rich text and possibly even photos.

Obviously this can be done in another application and combined into a single PDF, but all this stuff adds time and complexity to the quoting process. If you have to retrain staff using various software it opens up more room for error and errors are not a good place for the "legal document" which is the scope of works description.

Ryan Brown, could you post a copy of the report which you've made regarding the zone descriptions on the cover page?

That is probably one of my biggest feature requests - to have a better way of building a rich text style scope of work for reporting - one that is more dynamic and not just a big block of text. Would be great to have some sort of scope of work designer or something.

send me an email and I will provide you with the report files. ryanbrown@medesign.tv
