Default LANsync and VPN's

Hey everyone,

I was recently hired on at my place of business to deal with programming and to handle D-tools. I'm brand new to it. I've watched all of the help videos and have played around with it a bit. Feeling pretty good about it.

My manager requested that I look in to setting up a VPN from the server at his house to our business so that I can check proposals in to him without him having to leave his house. I figured out how to set up the VPN but what now?
I mean, as far as D-tools. Is it pretty simple? I haven't messed with it yet but I have a feeling it isn't as easy as 123.

Any advice/direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is pretty simple. You have to set your d-tools server to a static ip, then update your hosts list to include the static ip and proper computer name. There was another thread with instructions that I followed, just search for vpn on the forum here. Works great.

Yeah, we actually figured it out. The problem was with where the server files were stored. My manager had them stored on a separate hard drive. After I figured this out, I just had to share the proper file names.
