Do you use the cable labels feature? If so, what template and where do you get your labels from?

At the moment I'm interested in the Wire Labels by Location, however the font size is very small and they are spaced out in an unuseable way for me. Can you modify this template? Does Si5 have more templates?

Also, for a project I quite often delete cables and there for I usually have missing numbers... can you somehow update the wire #'s so there arent missing numbers once the project is completed?

As you can export the cable summary data to Excel I am expecting to use a company who prints Labels who can import excel data.

As for deleted cable numbers... can you use the generate componentID or something so its 1,2,3,4,5 etc not 1,2,5,7,12 etc??

You can attach part of an object (for example, the first three letters) to the compID...

So if I attached the first three letters of a Category, all my cables would look like this:

WIR001, WIR002 etc...

Much cleaner .

You can even go so far as to organize your cables categories into things like CAT5 (CAT001) and RG6 (RG6001) so that you can tell them apart more easily.
