Default Create a Sales Report for import into Tigerpaw?

I am in the process of learning this software and now I need to know how to first create a sales order number and then import it into Tigerpaw software. Has anyone done this before? Or at the very least I need to know how to create a Sales Order Number from a project.

Thanks in advance

You may wish to check the SI 4 Business Manager Guide for instructions on creating a Sales Order. I assume your are using SI 4.

Reed,

I read what that manual had, but I already went through that process on my own. What I need to know is how to get the project into the project name field so I can ADD it as a Sales Order Number. Right now there are only a few projects in there. Is this making sense? And yes I am utilizing SI4.

What is the status of the project and is that status one of the approved status's under "Options" on the BizMgr page?

Yeah, that is an easy one to miss. We covered that in the V5 manual, but I do not believe it was highlighted in the V4 User Guide.

You set set up the Biz Mgr Options to only allow projects with a Particualr Project Status to generate a Sales Order. You set this "Permission" as indicated by ManUnitedFan.

I got it working. If anyone else needs to know, make sure the project is 'Checked-In' before trying to create a Sales Order Number. When the project isn't on the server, SI doesn't see it.
