Default New Master Shapes/Visio 2007

Am I missing something? I open a stencil for edit, then open a Master Shape for edit, then open the group for edit, and I can't delete any part of the group of a Master Shape.

It's been a while since I've created a new Master Shape by copying/pasting one of the standard shapes into a stencil open for edit. Everything operates as normal until I want to delete all or part of a Master Shape's group. I've checked the Shape Sheet, but don't see anything that prevents me from doing this. The shape's protection properties aren't checked. I'm at a loss.

Anyone have any ideas? For the record, I'm not looking for a work-around and ignoring the actual problem. I want to solve the problem unless I am on crack and doing something wrong.

TIA

Before clicking on Edit - Open "shapename" (still on the "green" page) right click on the shape and go to ShapeSheet. Scroll down and you will see a section called PROTECTION... change LockGroup to a 0 and now you can go to Edit - Open "shapename".

Why does everyone think smoking crack is a bad thing?

Thanks. I knew it had to be something simple I was overlooking.

I dunno, but I overheard Senos telling Blake at DTU that you have to shave the crack first. Otherwise you'll burn the hair and boy does it stink! Maybe that's why?

WHAT? Ok, I know Blake is a sales guy with D-Tools, but who is Senos (last I knew that meant breasts!)? Crack has hair? Not anytime I have seen it on COPS!

Although he can be a "boob" sometimes, there's no relation. Senos=Seth Enos.
