I am trying to create stencils that, when dragged and dropped onto my project, will automatically contain an image of the file, specs and info. I want my stencil menu to contain the manufacturers names and, when dropped down, the names of all products.....for example, I want to drop down a "Crestron" menu and choose from "PAC2," "PRO2," etc. Then simply drag and drop onto my project. No fuss, no muss. Is this a possibility? Thank you!!

Yes it is, you just need to create the shape you want. Then you need to link it to the d-tools database, then jsu drag it into a new stencil.

When you're using D-Tools, do have the "Stencil Window" open? Forgive me if I'm not following what you're asking. If you have the "Crestron Stencil Window open, the shapes for each model are listed with or without an icon that represents the shape. Then you can just drag it onto the drawing page.

Did I understand correctly or am I missing it?
