Exclamation Shading Schematics Stencils

I am tring to find the best way to shade a schmatic stencil that will print as a transparent Solid color and not effect the small I/O text. If right mouse click on a stencil/format/fill/ and change tranparency to 95% it looks great on the computer but terrible printed? When it is printed the pixels are colored dots. Doe's the shapesheet need to be modified?

any assistance appreciated!

Default Try this

I would test your Printer by creating a blank new Visio file. Create a Box and add fill color and test to see the results. Once you have the correct % then try it inside the D-Tools SI Project.

Hope this helps,

Here are two screenshot examples of what we created awhile back. I'm visual, so the use of color is helpful for me. My opinion though is that it's not necessary to color the entire shape. That's just a waste of toner which is expensive. This is what I came up with as my win-win.

Default Print driver

Make sure you have the most up to date and real print driver for your printer. Sometimes using the generic print driver can screw up shading.
