Default Importing .dwg File - Only Getting First Page (Lower Level)

Hi,

I'm no stranger to this process, but I'm working with a new Architect and he sent me a .dwg file with All the floor plans for the project. Each Floor is defined in the dwg "Paper Space" as Lower Level, Main Level etc...
When I open the file with the Trueview dwg file viewer I can see all the pages.
The problem is when I import it to Visio, I see ONLY the First Page in Paper Space which happens to be the Lower Level.
Other Architects have sent me individual files for each floor or one file with all floors on one page.
Is there ANYTHING I can do with this .dwg to get the other floors?
I'd nag the Architect, but I havn't won the deal as of yet.

This might answer my question unless someone has a better idea.

Since he sent you the dwg, why don't you just open a new page, copy the view you want save it. Repeat for each Layer, floor, room, or whatever it is your lookig for, and import each one into Visio as a page. This is what I usually do since virtually every architect is different in how they create they drawings.

Are you talking about coping the view in visio or auto cad? I don't have autocad. In visio when I open the dwg, I only see one page (Lower Level) So how can I copy the other pages? If you think you can nail it, I'll send you the file.

You need to have the architect or someone with autocad save each floor in an individual dwg file. Then you just insert the files as you always have.

CadWizz should be able to fix that. $100 CAD reader program that is a very useful tool if you do not own AutoCAD.
