How do I set this up? This is mentioned in the user guide but not in enough detail to help. example: We wish for the client to supply 4 dish network vip 622 receivers for the job. We need to engineer the receivers into the project but do not want pricing and related details to show up.

Include the OFE equipment in the design. Check the OFE box in the Item Detail view. The Item will show up in the client reports as OFE--Description. All prices associated with OFE including labor gear is ignored. Youi may need to add individual Labor Items if you plan to touch the OFE gear.

This is also a good way to engineer a system upgrade. Use Copy Project or Insert System to create a new project, then set all items to OFE. Then add the new stuff.

I was looking for the checkbox in the wrong place. I now see that the equiopment is setup as normal. you add it to the project and then you can check it as "OFE". thanks for setting me straight on a beginner question!

I guess this would be a way to handle a job that was pre-wired by another company. You would just set all the wiring as OFE right?
