Default The username provided is already logged on...

Hello, I am having login problems because for whatever reason when I use SI5 on my laptop I get logged in automatically and assumed when I close SI5 I am logged out.

When I installed the client on my desktop machine and try to login with my credentials I get the error shown in my capture telling me that my username is already logged in?

Before purchasing we were told we could use a single license on a laptop and desktop as long as both were not logged in at the same time, I'm just confused as to how I actually logout/login so I can go back and forth between my desktop and laptop whenever I choose.

This thread mentions a similar problem and solution but I do not have that window in my version Still logged in after D-Tools Exit

Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks.

Same thing here. Logging out should log you off the server as well, in my opinion.

I was able to somehow login this afternoon from my Desktop machine but after disconnecting from the server I now have the opposite happening and cannot connect with my laptop because it is showing the same error as seen in my capture in my first post.

I really hope their is a reliable method for us to log in and out, wasted the whole afternoon trying to track down a solution and back at square one!

You have to go into your server administrator and manually log off the last computer that was connected to the server. Log in to server administrator; click on user; click on manage user; highlight the computer that is logged on; click Log off computer.

This is the part I hate having to do every time I change computers. I use Hamachi to access my server when out in the field, so if I dont remember to log off manually I then have to it through a remote log in (Logmein). Pain in the A.S.S.

Maybe d-tools can explain why when I log off the desktop, it doesn't log off the server. Please tell me if I'm missing something.

Thanks for the reply, finally after wasting alot of time today I logged into the server and did exactly what you said. I'm puzzled why a person should even have to do something like this?

I hope D-Tools can explain why I need to do this when switching between a laptop and my desktop. Should be automatically logged out when I close the program or disconnect from the File menu.
