Added manufactuer in MMPD but it does not show up in SI Text project product explorer window.

Ideas appreciated.

There might be a couple of reasons, first, did you create any products for that manufacturer? If so are they marked as "approved" or "discontinued"? Your product explorer may be filtering based on that. Also, I have found that once you create a new manufacturer or product, you need the product explorer to refresh in order to see the new products, have you tried the refresh button on the top of the data explorer?

That was it, all products were marked as unapproved.
