Default Missing Title Block from PDF

So, I printed this elevation page from Visio and the title block showed up on the printed page... When I save as a PDF and open it/print it, the title block is gone (see attached). I'm assuming this is becuase it's an elevation page? Is there any way to make it show up on the saved PDF?

Thanks in advance,
John

Yes, I tried to print other pages (line drawing, etc.) and they are missing the title block as well.

Steps are as follows:
1. Create new project
2. Create Visio drawing
3. Open Visio drawing
4. Delete all other drawings that I won't be needing (everything except elevation view and background, obviously)
5. Insert or copy/paste floorplan into background page
6. Insert products/images onto the elevation page
7. Print the page from Visio, works fine
8. Publish drawing as PDF and then open the PDF, no title block
9. Print the PDF to see if title shows up on the printout, it does not.

This wouldn't be an issue if we only gave the client hard copies of the Visio drawings. But, sometimes we do have to send the client a copy (as a PDF) via email or otherwise and so the title block doesn't show up on the PDF.

It's not a super big deal but we like to have the company name, address, and name of the client showing on the Visio

Hmmm...I have seen oddities with converting Visio files to PDF format over the years, usually a combination of what version of Visio and what version of Acrobat was being used. Perhaps try this as a work around:

1. Remove the "Title Frame" shape from your background floor plan page, which will remove it from your Elevation page.
2. Drag your Title Frame shape from your DT Annotations stencil directly to your Elevation page.

Hope this works!

That worked! That was definitely one of those, "Why didn't I think of that?" kind of moments...

Thanks!

I was having those issues a lot in the past, eventually I started saving PDF's differently from Visio. What worked for me was choosing File -> Print Preview and chose Adobe PDF as my printer. For some reason this produces better results than using the PDF buttons in the tool bar. Hope that helps too!

To print as PDF from Visio I use deskPDF 2.5 as printer and it works fine.
