Talking AutoCAD MEP 2011

I recently installed AutoCAD MEP 2011, but didn't delete AutoCAD 2007.

How do I get d-tools to open my files in AutoCAD MEP 2011?

I think you have to tell Windows to associate all DWG-files with MEP 2011. Choose a random DWG-file, right click, choose Run... Chosse Program.. select MEP 2011 and check the "always use this program to run this filetype". Problem solved?

Hi Mauricio. You will likely need to run the utility detailed in this post in order to get SI5 to connect to your version of AutoCAD.

Hi Seth:

I'm able to find the registry file on the Window XP machine (running the latest SI updates), but on my Window Vista (running Version 5.5.378.0) I'm not able to find that file.

Ahhh, yes. SI5 did not integrate to AutoCAD verticals until SP2, build 5.5.597.0. Once you update your XP machine to the current release (SP3, build 5.5.860.0) you will be able to run the utility.
