Hi,

The ComponentID(s) will regenerate based on the ComponentID format. Maybe since you have not changed any of the fields which constitute the ComponentID there is no change to the CompID.

If you go to D-Tools | Project Information | Component ID - you can check your project's CompID format. If you change something here and then do a "Regenerate ComponentID" it will regenerate based on the new CompID format.

I tried what you recommended and it still does not regenerate. It won't even regenerate even if I update data from the master table and then regenerate Comp ID!!!

Which field is your CompID based on? Is it based on Type? If so change the Type for a product and then do a "Regnerate ComponentID" for that product only. CompID should change based on the new Type.

If not send a screen shot of your ComponentID Format in the Project Information dialog.
