Default Thoughts on installed price proposals...

What have been your experiences with clients with regard to your proposal layout?

I find the "w/graphics" to be very poor and the "w/images and installed price" to be the way to go as far as I'm concerned, but would like your thoughts.

I find the leaner to be better - does the client really need to filter through the header BNC graphics??

So far, with just one proposal out since going with DT there was no issue with the installed price scenario, BUT with larger projects I can see this as a confusing - "just give me the price of the thing + labor break-out" ... situation.

I appreciate your experiences...

I would also suggest downloading some additional proposal templates we have published (if you have not already), They can be downloaded here: http://downloads.d-tools.com/SI5/rep...raphics_v2.zip

As an FYI, if you import these in they may go to the Uncategorized Reports folder first, then you can move them up to the folder you like.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks Jeff and yes, I have downloaded those, but they're not great - I feel the w/graphics is too much the "sales guy" approach...

But what I'm asking of users is what is their experience with proposals using the "installed" pricing as apposed to a line item with the labor added in the sub-total??
