Wire Head End from Data matrix - D-Tools Forum

Is it possible to assign the head end to multiple wires from the drop down column of the data matrix?

When in Visio, you can assign the head end, and it will populate the text in the data matrix, but you can't do it the other way around - unless I am over looking something.

I've noticed that if I make the HE change in the Data Matrix (and the wire already exists on the Visio page) that the HE text will not appear until I've closed and re-opened Visio - or maybe it was after I saved? I know for sure it appears after you close/ reopen the drawing...but I'd have to check to see if it showed up after a save. It does work though

I'm going to try that now. Would like to see it populate the wire head end on the page as it's being done though!

Your right, it works after saved and project is closed and re-opened..

Would this be a Visio issue or a D-Tools issue?

This is a D-Tools issue and has been logged as a bug for the next service pack.

In Sp2 when you change the headend in the PDM it changes correctly on the wire shape also.
