Slow performance in bigger projects - D-Tools Forum

I am doing a project for an apartment complex that has 4 floors with 10 rooms on each. Each room has 6 drops (Cable and Telephone) along with a Telecommunication room and media room. My problem is that I am 90% finished but SI5.5 takes forever to add new product or change zones, rooms etc. Is this normal because there is roughly a 10-12 second delay between each click of the mouse before I can do anything. It seems that the closer the deadline for this proposal the slower SI5.5 goes and more panicy I get.

Any thoughts on how to speed it up!

Apply a filter to the datmatrix to show only 1 building, or 1 floor, or one zone (system).

I have found that each added product causes the datamtrix to refresh and the more items shown the longer the refresh takes.

Thanks for that tip. I was getting the same problem. It's not a fix as such but definitely improves performance on the large projects.
