Default HELP! Moved to a new server...

I migrated to a new file server by carefully following the instructions posted here. I moved my server components from my SBS 2003 box to a dedicated file server running XP.

When prompted to enter a LanSync Administrator name/password, I simply entered admin/admin thinking that I would change it after I logged into the admin console.

After getting the whole process completed, I tried to login to the admin console, and got the "Incorrect username/password" error. Thinking I had mistyped, I uninstalled all the server components (including the installer) and started over from scratch, being careful with my typing. After completing the transfer process again, I STILL could not log into the admin console.

What is the problem here?? I really need to gain access so I can set myself as a user and start working again!

HELP!!

I have moved the server components from my local machine to the SBS box, so I have been successful with this transition before. What went wrong?

Thanks!
Chip

Has anyone had problems with the LanSync Admin login?

Excellent! Dax e-mailed me with the solution. Basically, on the new server installation the install wizard asks for a new admin/password - these are overwritten when the original users database is copied and reattached to the new SQL database.

I simply needed to login with my old user name and password! It makes sense now...

Thanks Dax!
