I assume that you are within a project because labor and sales tax do not calculate for products until added to a project. Check the Phase that the product is assigned and verify that there are rates assigned to the Phase (D-Tools->Options). If there are rates assigned, make sure the "Ignore labor calculations for this phase" option isn't checked for the Phase in question.
I am within the project. It is in the finish phase, the rates are entered and the box is unchecked, but still the number is not entered into the labor calculations. I know it is probably something simple, but I can't seem to locate the issue.
When you open the Product Properties for that product and click the Price tab, then the [View] button, do you see any labor calculations there? The only other thing that I can think of that would cause a product not to calculate labor is if it is in a Package and the Package option "Ignor labor calculations on equipment..." is selected.
