Default Start up problems

I have had a problem since starting with SI5 even the demo version. There is something in the Microsoft NET frame? that SI5 uses that other programs use also. What happens each time I start up SI5 is windows come up trying to install part of the Quicken Turbotax program I use each year called Deduction Finder. It acts like I have the install program for Turbotax running. I'm sure it has something to do with the part of the Microsoft background program but I don't know how to get rid of it. I have used the uninstall programs that came with Turbotax but I guess it didn't get rid of all of it. Its quite a pain because it slows down starting up SI5. Anyone seen this before or have any suggestions on how to get rid of it. Thanks in advance

David

Your best bet here will be to call support, because this could be a myriad of issues...

(the best way to diagnose it, is to let it happen, cancel it, and then go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer and select "Application" and you should find an ".msi error" or something about windows installer...)

However, even once you find the log for it, it can be tricky to try and figure out which .dll needs to be addressed.

Or, on the other hand, there might be a trick about this that support knows that'll save you from the 5 hours it'll spend for you to figure it out .
