David;

Did you find a solution for this issue. It is a pertinent one!

I also am updating a package and expected my project to reflect those changes.

I have been unsuccessful in achieving this goal, it is my preference to avoid replacing the existing project with a new one, nor is it agreeable to revert to my original package the project still believes is current, despite not existing in the MMPD.

Thanks

Default Refresh Data from Master Table doesn't work for packages

I have made a package with parts A,B, & C and added them in 25 different locations in my project. As I develop the project I realized that I ALSO need part D, and will always need part D whenever I do this type of work.

I went into the MMPD, updated the package, went back to my project and found that i was UNABLE to access the Refresh Data item for my package. Of course, I COULD access for each individual item within the package, which is FINE for price or detail changes, but I've added this new item to the package so that option is moot. I need to be able to globally update my project packages to reflect what is in my master tables. Do I have to DELETE AND RE-ADD ALL of the packages in my project?!?!?!?!?!?

SAID ANOTHER WAY: I found a typo in the description for my package "USE ME 100 TIMES IN EVERY PROJECT". Do I have to DELETE AND RE-ADD 100 packages to correct the typo?!?!?!?!?

Thanks,

Thanks. This has been logged as a request - "Add ability to refresh packages from Master Table".
