shading schematic stencils - D-Tools Forum

I am tring to find the best way to shade a schmatic stencil that will print as a transparent Solid color and not effect the small I/O text. If right mouse click on a stencil/format/fill/ and change tranparency to 95% it looks great on the computer but terrible printed? When it is printed the pixels are colored dots.

any assistance appreciated!

Sounds like your printing in a low res or draft mode. Change your print quality settings to something higher.

I am printing in the Best setting available? Do I need to change the shapesheet somewhere?

I have seen this happen when saving a Visio file as a PDF. all the shading goes wacky.
Check your print driver for updates. Its not Visio and its not the shapes. If you cannot print what is on the screen then its usually a printer or print driver issue.
