No European models (in product database) - D-Tools Forum

Hi all,

we're starting out with D-tools at our company now, and we're based in the Netherlands. The product database is great for products without international differentiation, but when dealing with LCD TVs etc. there are no European models in the database, only US models.

Is this something D-tools is working on together with their partner companies?

I know of the things you can do is copy the existing item, and make the necessary adjustments to meet European standards. However, I know that is not the easiest or fastest way.

Hi, yes, that's pretty much the workaround we're using, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having the database.

Hope we can expect European models to start showing up in the database soon, that would be great.

Hi all.)
I am starting use trial D-tools. I am intresting in, how will look d-tools project with lighting and Hvac control. Sampels on web site only about AV. May be some one can send me sample of that project (viso or autocad)? I usualy use KNX device in my projects, and i do not find no Munufacturer of KNX device. May be somebody know about some of them (Gira, ABB, Jung...) and applies in projects?

You can check in the "user contributed data" database. IMO I find it just as quick to register the products from scratch as I then can be sure that all data is correct.
