Hi Terry-
For some reason that I do not know, visualization mapping for the schematic page has been eliminated from SI5.
So the only way to map a custom shape on the schematic page is to do what you have been doing.
Shape Drop behavior is apparently looking at CATEGORY and the 'master property name' of the shape in SI5 and not CATEGORY and TYPE as they once were.
When dropping an item onto a schematic page, SI5 pulls in the shape named:
- 'schematic' for items in equipment type categories
- 'finish wire' for items in wire type categories
To overcome your issue you should:
- rename the existing 'schematic' and 'finish wire' shapes in each stencil and change the name of your custom shapes to 'schematic' and 'finish wire' as applicable.
When you drop an item onto the schematic page from your Project Datamatrix, your custom shapes will appear! - YEAA!
I do not know the full extent of custom shapes you have, so some slight variation to this solution might be required in some stencils.
We did much of this same manuevering with our Enhanced Stencil Suite for SI5

Ultimately IMO, visualization mapping to the schematic page should be restored to SI, but there must be some cool purpose for eliminating it.
Happy D-Tooling!
